The 2by2bar is powered by Microsoft's ActiveX technology
which is currently only supported by Microsoft Windows operating

Does the 2by2bar work with the 2by2TV?
No, the 2by2bar will not work with the 2by2TV. We encourage
you to start using the 2by2bar complemented with Internet
Explorer in place of the 2by2TV.
Does the 2by2bar work with any other
browser?
No, the 2by2bar will only work with Internet Explorer 5
or later. It will not work with other browsers such as Netscape,
AOL, or Opera.
Does 2by2bar have multiple language
support?
There are no other language versions of 2by2bar at this
moment but it may be a feature in future versions of 2by2bar.
However, multiple language support is available on the 2by2mail,
2by2mall, and 2by2home.
Installation failed. What is wrong?
- The source of the problem is either of three choices:
- You clicked "No" in the Security Dialogue
box

- You have Windows NT/2000/XP and do not have Administrative
Privileges

Why do I get a Security Warning
that asks me if I want to install and run the 2by2bar?
Your security settings are set so that you are prompted
before any programs are installed on your machine. The dialogue
box is just asking you to confirm that you want to install
the 2by2bar.
I've installed the 2by2bar but I can't
find it on my browser? Where is it?
- If you do not see the 2by2bar, click on "View"
on top of the IE menu, mouse-over "Toolbars"
and make sure 2by2.net is checked.
- Another approach is to right click on the default
IE toolbar, and select "2by2.net"
- If you have IE 5, it is known that the earlier
builds of IE 5 has a problem with its support for custom
toolbars. If this is the case, 2by2bar may be listed under
the name "Radio', which is usually the second listing.
Please go to View > Toolbars and select the second
option.
- If you have IE 6 and you are experiencing trouble
downloading the 2by2bar, please make sure the following
item is enabled in your browser: Tools > Internet Options
> Advanced > Enable third party browser extensions.
How can I update the 2by2bar to
the latest version?
You don't have to do anything. 2by2Bar will update itself
once new features are available.If you feel you still don't
have the latest version, to manually update the 2by2Bar,
click on the 2by2 icon, select "Check Update"
and 2by2Bar will check if you have the latest version.

Why am I not logged into 2by2 Passport
automatically once 2by2bar starts?
- For security reasons, you must log in at one of
2by2.net's Passport enabled web pages that require the
2by2 passport before you are recognized by the 2by2 system.
- After you log into one 2by2 password enabled site,
your login information is saved and can be used in any
of 2by2.net Passport sites until you close all your IE
browsers.
- For convenience, set one of the 2by2 Passport
websites as your homepage.
- To set one of the 2by2Passport sites as your homepage,
go to "Tools" > "Internet Options"
then type in a 2by2 address.
Once I am logged into my 2by2 Passport,

When I type in an address in Internet
Explorer, why does it take me to a 2by2 Passport login page?
2by2Bar's URL detector is turned on. This special feature
auto-detects if the URL you entered is a 2by2mall store,
and tracks 2by2 Cashback rewards from those stores. If it
takes you to the login page, you have not logged into a
2by2 Passport site yet.
How do I turn the URL detector feature
off?
Click on the 2by2 Icon and select "Toolbar Options"
and uncheck "Use URL detector". Repeat this step
if you want to turn the feature ON.
Note: Once you turn off this
feature, the 2by2Bar will not be able to track 2by2mall
purchases for 2by2Cashback Rewards. You will have to go
to 2by2home or 2by2mall to track 2by2Cashback rewards from
our vendors.

How do I change the color of the
2by2Bar?
2by2Bar uses your Windows appearance settings as its default
color scheme. For example, if your IE browser is blue, the
2by2Bar is blue.To change your Windows appearance, go to
your Control Panel and click on "Display"
Select the "Appearance" tab and change your color
scheme by using the "Scheme" drop down menu, or
by changing each item's color with the "Item"
drop down menu.
How do I move the toolbar?
Move your mouse to the vertical separator bar just to the
left of the 2by2.net logo. The mouse icon will become two
vertical lines with arrows on either side. Drag the mouse
to where you want the 2by2Bar to be positioned.
Why can't I move the 2by2Bar?
If you are using IE6, you probably have the "Lock The
Toolbars" option selected.To deselect this option,
right-click on the 2by2Bar and uncheck "Lock The Toolbars"
and this will uncheck this option.
How do I hide or turn off the 2by2Bar?
Right-click on the 2by2Bar and select "2by2.net"
to hide the toolbar.
Hiding the toolbar closes the 2by2Bar program, and you will
not be able to track your 2by2Cashback Rewards through the
2by2Bar.
